About Save
the Children:
Founded in May 1919 by two sisters namely, Eglantyne Jebb and Dorothy Buxton
in London, Save the Children has grown to become a
global independent children’s charity organization. We’re angry that
millions of children around the world are still denied their rights to proper
healthcare, food, education and protection.
Save the Children is
working hard daily in over 52 countries across the world to deliver dramatic
change for children, to ensure that every child gets their rights. And we have
been raising funds to provide relief to children suffering the effects of war
and other untold hardship.
Our mission Is to inspire
breakthroughs in the way the world treats children, and to achieve immediate
and lasting change in their lives. Our vision is a world in which every child
attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation.
